Peppermint Bailey

Realm: Candia

The principal inner bailey of Castle Candy — a broad ceremonial courtyard enclosed by hard-candy curtain walls and peppermint-striped battlements. Cool mint-scented air drifts between sugar-crystal colonnades. A raised dais of pale peppermint marble stands at the far end for formal presentations; galleries and tiered viewing platforms line the walls for each realm’s delegation.

For the emergency Grand Concordant Coronation, the bailey has been dressed with banners of every realm, mourning mixed with celebration. This is where the formal candidate presentations and crowning rites are scheduled to take place after the festival in the Gumdrop Grove.
